My Work

Ya’át’ééh!

I'm a citizen of the Diné Nation and an Assistant Professor in the Information School at the University of Washington (UW). In this position, I will continue to focus my research on water security, climate change and sustainability sciences. In addition, I will be examining the overlaps in my research and information policy. My central interests are water security research and efforts that strengthen Native health, while privileging the voices of native peoples and their communities. This year I am launching the Tribal Water Security Project and creating an advisory board, so if you have any interest, please contact me. I am interested in collaborations and partnerships with Tribal nations/communities, scientists, and social scientists.
